Kearsney College Rugby Festival

The Blythedale Coastal Resort Schools Easter Tournament Schools At Kearsney College

The inaugural festival took place in 2008 and Kearsney Headmaster Elwyn van den Aardweg was pleased to announce that the Blythedale Coastal Resort, which is part of the eLAN Property Group has signed as the new title sponsor of the annual Kearsney Schools Rugby Festival. He was also proud to announce that Mark Taylor the CEO of the eLAN Group is a Kearney Old Boy. They were also pleased to announce to have also brought on board the services of Craig Clay-Smith and his Flagship team who will be working closely with Joy Mills-Hackmann the Festival Relations Manager.

The festival takes place between 31 March and 5 April and will be hosted by Kearsney College with the following schools participating:

From KZN - Glenwood, the Blythedale Invitation XV which SA Rugby Legends will be helping with and hosts Kearsney College
From Northern Cape - Upington
From Border and Eastern Cape - Selborne and Nico Malan
From Free State - Grey College Bloem
From Gauteng - Hoerskool EG Jansen, Marais Viljoen and Monument

Leon Schuster who played hooker for Free State whilst at University will be supporting Grey College Bloem at the festival.
