SARLA / eLan / Jeep / Mercury Challenge

Reinforcing the importance of team work, the South African Rugby Legends Association has been challenged by their title sponsor, eLan Group, with the inclusion this year by Jeep and the Mercury, to a weekend of sporting activities from 8 - 10 May.

The weekend's team challenge started in the secluded Blythedale Resort with the 15km forest and beach mountain biking event followed by an adventure race.

Saturday saw the challengers teeing off at the Simbithi Golf Course with the afternoon spent rooting for the Sharks against the Waratahs at The Absa Stadium Durban.

Fishing enthusiasts headed out for the deep sea fishing expedition on Sunday while on land, the challenge continued at Ushaka Marine World for a water adventure and surf challenge. Finishing off the challenge, all competitors were thrown into the frying pan for a cook-off.
