Marc Watson was born on the 5th of Dec 1970 in JHB. He attended Pretoria Boys High and St Andrews High. He is 1.87m tall and weighs around 92kg.

He is a former 7's Springbok who played wing. He played Natal 1991, Eastern Transvaal 1993 and from 1995 he was with the Lions where he still remains one of their star players.

He played South African Rugby League for two years and toured to France with them.

He is currently playing for The South African Rugby Legends and gives of his time to help with the coaching of the disadvantaged children of Africa.

He still holds the South African record for the most tries in a first class match (8)
