Sun Valley Rugby Tournament

The South African Rugby Legends Association travelled down to Cape Town and assisted in the Sun Valley Rugby Tournament on 16 August.

Recently launched Western Cape Rugby Legends assisted the South African Rugby Legends Association with the Sun Valley Rugby tournament that had three teams Nanga, Langa and Khaylethisia competing.

Crystal blue skies on a cold winter's day kept hundreds of supporters happy with loads of action on the fields. Strapping young lads impressed locals with their skills and ball handling in the midst of rugby season. At the end of the day, rugby was the winner with all teams having the opportunity to practice their skills supported by great players of the game.

The motto of the South African Rugby Legends Association is to expand the amateur level of the game, no matter how young or old, and getting involved in tournaments at the ground level is sticking to this ethos.
