SARLA will once more field a legendary line up of former rugby players riding from Pietermaritzburg to Durban in the 2017 edition of the Tsogo Sun Amashova Durban Classic.
This will be the fourth year that SARLA has a sponsored team riding, which includes Wayne Fyvie, John Allan, Dirkie Strydom, Henry Coxwell, Stefan Terblanche, Trevor Halstead, John Slade and Adrian Garvey, who will be joined by his dad Brian.
“It’s become an annual event for our KZN based legends and an opportunity to have some fun with former teammates as well as give back to our wonderful hospitality partners, Tsogo Sun”, said SARLA CEO Stefan Terblanche.
“It is a well-organised cycling event and there is always great competition between the guys as to who will cross the line first, my money is on Trevor Halstead this year”.
The race finishes at Tsogo Sun’s Sun Coast beachfront lawns, and the public are invited to come along and cheer their favourite legends and other riders across the finish line.
